Yesterday saw na old man in the train. He was going from Lisbon to Porto. Amazingly well behaved and super respectful. He had a look in his face like the world was not a place for him anymore. Functional clothing. A leather bag. No tech whatsoever. Probably don’t even know what AI is This world is moving at an unprecedented speed. Even for younger people like myself. And the world is not for him anymore not because he was old, but because I think their generation just moved at a different pace. Innovation is speeding up in absolute terms obviously. You have more articles, more patents, better technology, etc But what’s more is that all this compounds into an extremely and ever increasing positive derivative that accelerates the relative rate of innovation
